Support us

Winter Appeal 2021.png

This winter, we are aiming to raise £100,000 to purchase food for the Bow and Bethnal Green Foodbanks. This will help us to provide food for 600-750 adults each week, and thousands of children. We also want to give everyone an extra bag of "treats" during the festive season. Help us reach our target!

If you would like to host a fundraiser, we would love to support you! please contact us to get started.

We currently offer each adult a pre-packed bag of cupboard staples, and offer a small choice of extra hygiene/ cleaning products and small bags of fresh fruit & veg. Every family is also given extra items for their children. On average, a small family will collect a parcel worth around £20 - enough to keep a family going for few days when there is nothing else left in the cupboard.

The past two years have been a real challenge for everyone - we now see many more families in need than we ever did before, and we need your help to keep going. Without our fundraising, we would have to reduce our already limited offering for those who need us. If you can support us, please click the button below to contribute to our Winter Appeal

Volunteer

We've been overwhelmed (the good kind of overwhelmed!) by all your offers for practical support and while we love the enthusiasm, we want to make sure ours is a Covid-safe work space.

Please fill in the following contact form if you're interested in coming out to help and we'll be in touch as soon as we have an opening matching your availability. Our volunteer sessions currently run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

For any one-off large donations, please e-mail us so we can make sure we make the best use of your generosity. We may be able to arrange for collection if you're local to BG and have a larger donation.

Keen to do more? Why not consider organising a collection for us. This could be in your apartment block, street, school, place of work or any other community you're a part of.
